Charles Plumerel

Charles Plumerel worked for Daniel in Marseilles. The relationship to Charles Plumerel (II) below remained unclear. He produced some violins there, which he signed internally. He established himself in Capalette, Marseilles, creating well-made instruments in the Mirecourt style. His instruments featured a large flat model with golden-yellow varnish and were sometimes branded. A manuscript label was present.
