Albert Carl Muller

Albert Carl Muller was a violin and bow maker who studied under Louis Prince starting in 1938 and later trained with Abraham Koodlach. He worked for Sherman & Clay and Emil Herrmann. In 1969, he moved to Sacramento and established his own business there in 1979. He created over 200 violins, 50 violas, and 20 cellos, primarily based on Stradivari models, using oil and spirit varnishes. He also made several bows. Certificates were awarded to him at the Violin Society of America competitions in 1976, 1978, 1982, and 1984.
