Eric Johan Lidholm

Eric Johan Lidholm studied under E. A. Thompson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked for Frederick Buckley in St Louis, Missouri. Established in St Louis in 1914, he moved briefly to Minneapolis in 1923 but ultimately returned to St Louis. His personal model was influenced by Buckley. He completed at least 24 violins featuring orange-brown varnish. A prize was awarded at the Sesqui-Centennial Exposition in 1926.
