Antoine Lagarde

Antoine Lagarde was the son and pupil of Gabriel Lagarde from around 1815. He was a violin and bow maker who established himself independently from approximately 1825. Rare but fine bows in the Pajeot style were produced from that time, featuring ivory frogs with star inlay. His work was branded: A. LAGARDE.
