Anton Kulhawy

(c. 1804 – 1830)

Anton Kulhawy created early work that was rather crude but produced instruments of good quality after 1810, following the Stradivari model. The varnish was a pale, clear golden brown. Some of the instruments featured ivory and other inlay on the edges and scroll. He marked his work as Antonius Kulhawy / fecitViennae 1813.
