Jean Eulry
Violin maker

Jean Eulry apprenticed at Laberte & Magnié from 192é to 1923. He worked for A. Dieudonné and, starting in 1957, for Apparut-Hilaire, where he became the workshop manager and director, retiring in 1977. He was well known and respected as a teacher of many successive luthiers. He received many awards, including Young Craftsmen of France in 1927, the National Medal of Merit in 1977, and the Légion d'Honneur in 1982.
