Alfred Coletti studied under Carl Hermann Voigt from 1892 to 1904. He gained a high reputation as a restorer and connoisseur, earning the nickname 'Viennese Stradivari. ' In 1904, he joined the firm of Hamberger and took over the workshop the following year.
