Edouard Schuster established his business in Brussels in 1910, initially located in the Galerie de Commerce (Passage Hirsch). In 1925, he moved to boulevard Emile-Jacquemain, and later to place de La Reine. In 1944, he relocated to Hirsingue, Alsace, on rue Saint-Nicolas. He produced Guarneri and personal models featuring red oil varnish. After 1925, he branded his work as 'Ed Schuster. '.
