Gustav Häussler

Gustav Häussler was a nephew, pupil, and from 1871, the successor of Christian Häussler in Krakow. His instruments featured a Stradivari model with spirit varnish and demonstrated finely finished workmanship. He received medals at Lvov and Krakow. He imported and refitted commercial instruments from Luby (Schonbach), which were labelled `corrected by Gustav Hauser'. His workshop was located at 22 ul. Florjanska, Krakow, in 1922. The inscription read, "Gustavus Häussler Cracoviensis me fecit / ac (? ) Marcello Tyberg Amico sui dedicavit Anno 18.. ".
