Anton Jirowsky

Anton Jirowsky worked for Thomas Zach from around 1887 and collaborated with Ignaz Lutz and Haudek from approximately 1896. He established himself independently in 1902. He continued to create in the style of Zach, achieving a very high standard of finish. From 1924, he focused on guitar making, producing guitars with arched plates. He also made lutes and other plucked instruments. He received several medals and diplomas and became a prominent member of the Vienna Guild.
