Bow maker / Violin maker
(c. 1725 – 1786)

Father of bow maker Jacob Eury, François Eury is cited as a violin maker in historical documents, but he may also have been a bow maker and instrument dealer. He worked in Mirecourt. Some bows possibly made by his son around 1790-1800 were previously attributed to him, but he is now known to have died in 1786.
