The French influence was strong in Turin in the 19th century, and the two most prominent makers were Pressenda and Alessandro D'Espine, who Felice probably collaborated with in some capacity. Unfortunately the volume of his output is too small to draw conclusions about his stylistic inclinations, but what few instruments remain suggest a promising career cut short by his death in 1839 at the age of 28.
