Nicolas Duclos

Nicolas Duclos claimed to be a pupil of Stradivari on his label, as did many others without justification. He was of French origin and was known for generally well-made instruments, featuring carved heads of angels and animals in place of the scroll, with a vaguely Stradivarian form.
