Jules Gaillard-Lajoue

Jules Gaillard-Lajoue was the younger brother of Charles Gaillard. He received a silver medal at the 1855 Paris Exhibition for his good work. His instruments included Guarneri models featuring lightly shaded varnish. He also created some remarkable 'double violins' and guitar-shaped instruments in the Chanot style. They were branded internally as 'L. Gaillard. '.
