Pierre Sirjean

Bow maker / Violin maker
(1765 – after 1820)

Pierre Sirjean was the son of Charles Sirjean. Although he apprenticed as a violin maker, he worked as a bow maker in Paris from around 1801. He was recorded at 14 rue de Fleurus in 1809, at 31 rue de l'Ecole in 1818, and returned to rue de Fleurus in 1820. Only two bows are cautiously attributed to him.
