Oswald Schaller
(1857 – 1913)
Oswald Schaller was the son and pupil of Friedrich Wilhelm Schaller. He worked for Louis Otto in Düsseldorf. From 1881, he established himself independently in Frankfurt. He used classical Cremonese models and developed his own oil varnish, which produced a good transparent red-yellow.
