Georges Emile Barjonnet

Georges Emile Barjonnet was a bow maker. He was the son of Jules Henri Barjonnet. He apprenticed at Cuniot-Hury and assisted É. Ouchard until 1937, later working with his son, E. A. Ouchard. He established himself in Poussay, near Mirecourt, in 1940, and was employed by Thibouville-Lamy from 1943 to 1969. From 1969 to 1980, he collaborated with R. Gérôme to create highly refined and richly mounted bows that were somewhat heavy but true to the Ouchard style.
