Arnaldo Morano was a significant maker, restorer, and connoisseur from Italy in the 20th century. Initially self-taught, he exhibited at Cremona in 1937 and received a gold medal at Cremona in 1949. In the latter part of his life, he renewed his focus on crafting new violins, utilizing Cremonese models and applying fine rich orange-red varnish.
