Nandor (Ferdinand) Brückner was a pupil of Mönnig and an assistant of J. W. Schunda. He worked at 4 Magyarut, Budapest from 1874 to 1926. He specialized in making double basses and also produced violins and cellos, which were greatly appreciated locally.
