Eugene Langonet

Eugene Langonet was the youngest brother of Charles François Langonet. He apprenticed at Chipot-Vuillaume and was employed by Paul Mangenot before joining his brother in London at Hills. He subsequently returned to France to work for Sylvestre and Maucotel in Paris. He established himself independently in Nantes starting in 1910. He received a silver medal at the Nantes Exhibition in 1924. His instruments featured classical models with a fine golden-brown varnish. Atelier E. Langonet / Luthier - Nantes - L'an 19..
