Eduard Bartek
Violin maker

Eduard Bartek was a pupil of Engleder. He also worked with Nemessanyi until 1872, after which he established himself independently. He employed A. Bergmann, M. Remenyi, and K. Langfurth. Bartek received a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition in 1878. His business was not successful, and he died young. Few violins by him are extant, showcasing fine workmanship based on Stradivari and Guarneri models.
