Patrick Gordon Milne was the son of Peter Milne and established himself in Aberdeen in 1896, initially at 11 Windmill Brae, then moving to Back Street after 1898, and later to Guild Street after 1812. In 1920, he relocated to Glasgow. He was credited with approximately 70 instruments, some of which were imported in the white and varnished by him. Other instruments exhibited various shades and qualities of spirit varnish.
