William Thomas Walls

William Thomas Walls was a violin and bow maker. He was active in Tampa, Florida from around 1928. He received instruction from M. Madison around 1928 and W. A. Weaver from 1934 to 1940. He established his own business in 1935 and relocated to Lutz, Florida in 1978. His personal model included some patterns from Stradivari and Guarneri. Over 200 instruments were produced, which included many historical pieces. He completed 20 historical bows and 12 modern bows.
