Giuseppe Castagnino was active from 1906 and trained briefly with G. Fiorini in Munich in 1913. He received medals at Milan, Turin, and Venice. His work was fine and very consistent, based on Stradivari, featuring good golden-orange varnish. He branded his work in several places, both internally and externally.
