Charles Frank Langonet
(1888 – 1963)
Charles Frank Langonet was the son and pupil of Charles Francois Langonet. He also trained in Mirecourt with Audinot before returning to London to join his father at Hills. There, he worked as a maker and restorer, producing many fine copies of classical instruments that bore the Hill label. He established himself independently in London in 1946 as C. F. Langonet & Son, collaborating with his son Alfred Charles until he retired to Rottingdean, Sussex around 1960.
