Albert Coad
(b. 1884)
Albert Coad was active in Redruth from 1916 and in Penzance from 1930. Influenced by W. Mayson, he created copies of the 1716 Stradivari 'Messie' violin. His work featured good craftsmanship and high-quality materials. The interior of the back was signed, and some instruments were branded on the back button with 'A. Coad'. A printed label was also present.
