Victor Thomassin
Bow maker
(1859 – c. 1916)
Victor Thomassin, son of Nicolas Thomassin, was likely apprenticed to C. N. Bazin in Mirecourt. He moved to Paris in 1895, establishing himself as a repairer at 6 rue Lamartin, and remained there until around 1900, primarily engaged in restoration work. He then relocated to England, where he worked for various businesses in London, producing bows in an English style. His branding was T. VICTOR, and a few bows from this period are known.
