Victor Thomassin, son of Nicolas Thomassin, was likely apprenticed to C. N. Bazin in Mirecourt. He moved to Paris in 1895, establishing himself as a repairer at 6 rue Lamartin, and remained there until around 1900, primarily engaged in restoration work.
