Claude Guillot
(d. 1882)
Known as 'Le Messin', he was said to have trained with Pressenda in Turin (Vannes), although there appears to be no actual connection. He worked for several Italian workshops and established himself in Bordeaux in 1832. His work featured fine craftsmanship on classical models and was signed on the interior.
