George Panormo
Violin maker
(1777 – 1845)
Third son of Sicilian-born violin maker Vincenzo Panormo, George Panormo worked as a violin maker, but often for other firms, possibly including James and Henry Banks. As a result, he rarely signed his instruments, and is not to be confused with his son, George Lewis, who bought the family's guitar-making business from his uncle Louis around 1855.
