First interested in violin making in 1947. Received guidance from Giuseppe Ornati and Leandro Bisiach Jr. Initially inspired by Balestrieri and Scarampella, though later he used personal models. Over 600 instruments are credit to him and he received medals at Cremona 1967 and 1971, and at Bagnocavallo 1971.
