John Barrow

John Barrow was a pupil of Ernest Gamble in Leicester. He moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut around 1924. His work included Guarneri models and copies of individual classical instruments, showcasing fine craftsmanship with well-coloured oil varnishes. His pieces were branded internally with 'John Barrow, 19.. ' and featured a manuscript label that read: John Barrow / Violin Maker / Bridgeport Conn. U. S. A. Additionally, it stated: John Barrow / Fecit Bridgeport. Conn. / 1924. U. S. A.
