Jakob Petz was the nephew of Franz Petz and created fine work on typical Tyrolean models. The long form featured arching of medium height. A small volute adorned the rather broad pegbox. Short sound-holes had rounded wings. He used plain materials and applied a decent brown or yellow-brown varnish.
