Alexander Kennedy

Alexander Kennedy was a pupil of Nathaniel Cross and taught his nephew John Kennedy. He worked in Market Street, off Oxford Street (now Great Titchfield Street), London. His high-arched Stainer model was typical of the London trade work of the period, showcasing good workmanship with thin yellow-brown varnish. He signed his work internally. He made an instrument for Nath. ll Cross on November 6, 1744, in Oxford Market, London. He also created an item in Oxford Market, London, on July 10, 1747. In 1749, Alexander Kennedy was a musical instrument maker residing in Market Street, in Oxford Street, London.
