Luigi Azzola
Violin maker
(1883 – c. 1973)
Employed by and commonly considered a follower of Annibale Fagnola, Luigi Azzola was a Turinese maker of unknown training. Few authenticated works by his hand exist, so the features of his style are uncertain. After Fagnola's death in 1939, it is likely that Azzola continued to work alongside Fagnola's nephew Annibalotto and brother Marcello until around 1944.
