Nephew of Alexander Kennedy. Active in Cooper's Gardens, Houghton Street, Clare Market, St Clement's Lane, Long Alley, and from 1778 in Johnson's Court. Finally established at 6 Bolton Street from 1790; all addresses in the east and south of the City. His work is of the coarse Stainer-inspired ...Read More type seen in a lot of London trade work of the period; often unpurfled and sold through various merchants. In 1778 he was imprisoned for debt.
