Fra Agostino Facini

(fl. 1731 – 1742)

Fra Agostino Facini was a monk of the Order of Saint Jean de Dieu. He created Cremonese models featuring nicely carved scrolls and a fine yellow-brown varnish. It was suggested by Henley that he was a pupil of Tononi. An inscription cited by Vannes read `Facini di`.
