Galileo Arcellaschi
(1910 – 1985)
Galileo Arcellaschi was a pupil of C. Oddone. He initially established himself in Turin in 1935 before returning to his birthplace in Como. He concentrated on cellos, with one example presented at the Cremona competition in 1949. His work was characterized by a good, well-ordered approach based on a classically-derived personal model.
