Jean Grunberger
(b. 1958)
Jean was taught by master Bernard Ouchard at Mirecourt school from 1975 to 1978, then by Benoît ROLLAND in Paris. Now settled in Angers, he previously held the position of headmaster of the Bow Making School of America between 2001 and 2006, and instructor in Oberlin college from 2002 to 2006. Jean won several awards for his bowmaking: gold medal VSA 1984, 2 certificats of merit VSA 1984, gold medal VSA 1986, 2nd Prize PARIS 1991
& 1st prize PARIS 1999, "Coup de coeur" VioloncellenSeine 2012.
