Gabriel Adolphe Thibout

Gabriel Adolphe Thibout was the son and pupil of Jacques-Pierre Thibout. He created work similar to that of his father but developed his own model inspired by the Guarneri del Gesii 'Rode' violin from 1734. These instruments featured a facsimile of the original label along with Thibout's own addition: Imitation du Violon de Rode fait par Thibout, a Paris, 1834.
