Johann Heinrich Schult
(1866 – 1949)
Johann Heinrich Schult was a pupil of O. Schünemann and established his workshop in Königstrasse, Lübeck in 1896. In 1907, he was appointed luthier to the Mecklenburg court. His workshop was destroyed by bombing in 1942, which forced his retirement. He received medals at Turin and Schwerin. His workmanship on classical models was very fine, utilizing excellent materials and varnishes.
