Harry Victor Rockwell

Harry Victor Rockwell was the son and pupil of Joseph H. Rockwell. He also trained with his uncle, David Bailey Rockwell. He worked alongside his father in Boston and Providence, eventually taking over the business in 1930. He created more than 250 violins, violas, and cellos based on classical Italian models. His personal model originated in 1922 and was branded with his initials beneath the endpin.
