Horace William Petherick

Horace William Petherick was an artist, connoisseur, and writer. He made a small number of violins based on a personal model. He authored regular essays in The Strad magazine, as well as The History of the Violin (1893), Antonio Stradivari (1900), Joseph Guarnerius - His Work and His Master (1906), and Repairing and Restoration of Violins (1915).
