James Pearce



(c. 1777 – 1800)

James Pearce established a workshop in Peter Street, Saffron Hill, London, with his brother Thomas Pearce. He produced ordinary London trade work in the style of H. L. Hill. The stainer model featured boxy arching and thin varnish. He made these instruments in 1777.
