Antonio Pandolfi

(c. 1715 – 1742)

Antonio Pandolfi was a maker who remained unknown and had not been discovered in Venetian archives. Vannes provided a label from 1740 and suggested another instrument dated 1712, which featured one-piece backs with slanting soundholes and yellow-brown or red-brown varnish. Henley proposed an Amati model, noting that it might be a misread or misleading label.
