Oreste focused primarily on plucked instruments, though he also made a number of violins. His construction methods are reminiscent of his more famous younger brother's while his style exhibits a high degree of individuality. His early period before 1925 was especially experimental; later works show more classical inspiration, but the somewhat modest workmanship is more evident.
