Certificate: W. E. Hill & Sons, London The back is a jointed one of wood cut on the slab & marked by a small curl: the head matching: the sides cut on the quarter & the varnish of a reddish-brown colour. The instrument, which measures 16 1/2 inches in length of body, is in an excellent state of preservation. It has a piece on the right flank of the table.
