Branded to the inside back, "Blanchi a Nice" and the lower rib, "A. Blanchi a Nice."
Back: in one piece of slab-cut maple with irregular narrow flame descending from the bass side.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium-narrow grain broadening toward the edges.
Scroll: of quarter-cut maple with medium-narrow flame.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of a golden red-brown color.
Length of back: 35.6 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Middle bouts: 11.2 cm
Lower bouts: 20.8 cm
