Bearing its original label, "Sanctus Seraphin, Utinensis Fecit Venetiis Ann. 1743."
Branded to the lower rib, "Santo Serafin."
Back: in two-pieces of quarter sawn maple with pronounced flame of medium width descending from the centre joint.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with fine grain of narrow width widening to the edges.
Scroll: of wood similar to the back. Bearing its original neck, re-angled at the heel.
Ribs: of wood similar to the back.
Length of back: 35.8 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Middle bouts: 11.6 cm
Lower bouts: 20.7 cm
