Fine Italian maker whose work gradually became more French influenced over time. He used a smaller model than is typical of his French contemporaries, and sometimes the archings are a little high. His deeply cut scrolls are very characteristic. Assisted by his nephew, Pierre Gaggini, towards the end of his life.
