Oswald Möckel


Violin maker
(1843 – 1912)

Oswald was the pupil of Carl Grimm and Christian Adam, and in turn trained his two sons to be accomplished makers. He set up his own shop in Berlin from 1869 and was awarded a medal of honour for his instruments at the 1896 Berlin exhibition.
